As if it fell from Heaven above

I was pulling into a parking space at the grocery store when I saw a vision in turquoise from across the lot. There it was...alone and abandoned at the Salvation Army donation truck. The lines! The shape! The color! I couldn't possibly bring it home but decided the least I could do was take a photo of it. I drove away slowly, quietly weeping. Farewell, turquoise thing, farewell!

That is one amazing couch. I would have had to actually think about taking it home with me.

Thank you so much for memorializing this turquoise treasure for us.

Oh, I can so relate. I met a green beauty at the Salvation Army in Gresham on Sunday and had to sit on it for a while just to give it some love. Twice.
I'm looking forward to Plucky Maidens on Thursday and maybe I'll see you there!

Is it just me or is anyone else freaked out by possible bedbug issues in second hand upholstered stuff? I need a cootie shot.

It's gorgeous I think I would be so sad if I had to leave it behind like you did!

So sad, I was hoping you would be able to snatch it up! I've been wanting a 1950s aqua couch for ages but no luck so far... main issue is hauling it back to my apartment then wrestling it up 3 flights of stairs, not fun.

I would've loved to see it. However with the bed bug scare I would've left it there.

I'm glad you took a picture and shared it with us.

OMG, how could anyone abandon this beauty! I'm not afraid of any stinkin' cooties :->

That color is so pretty! Oh the pain to being left at the SA!

Thanks for sharing. It is really just perfect looking. Like into Vintage, I'd have worried about cooties. Or smells. But a photo of a couch that lovely - perfect!

Thanks for the picture of that lovely couch. I wonder who owned it/kept it for so long? I also find it is hard to pass up treasures!

Oh. My. Goodness. That thing is amazing and would've looked great in Suzy's new sewing room. Did you see her ottoman makeover? It's like the sofa and the ottoman were meant to be together!!
