Life has been throwing a few curve balls my way lately, and blogging has been on hold. However, I am back with bells on to tell you about my recent road trip to see my friend Joan.
Joan and I have been friends since we were in the 4th grade in Garden Grove, California. She now lives with her family in a beach cottage on Bainbridge Island near Seattle.
The second best part of the visit was seeing where they live; this is Joan by her garden gate on the banks of Puget Sound.

The first best part was seeing Joan's amazing art. This gal is a genius I tell ya.

Joan also made this fab collage from the plastic thing-a-ma-jigs that keep your bread bag closed.
