Six Mica Made in Japan houses, vintage shiny garland, a huge silver Shiny Brite...
Strings of vintage lights, 70's wrapping paper, Santa apron (his face and hat are velvet) and more shiny stuff...
Still more deer, gold and white with red eyes (Beth said they look like zombies), tiny glass ornaments, a candy tin, 2 angels and 2 cross stitch pieces...
Beautifully crafted...
I didn't even see this until I got home and was breathing again.
Total price for everyting pictured above: $5P.S. Does anyone know what the cross stitch pieces are? If I didn't know better, I would guess that they are suspenders?!?!

I'm swooning! You hit the motherload! Can you take another photo fo the needlework pieces. The first photo, I would have thought it was a bell pull. Are they connected in an X? If they can be separated, I would turn them into straps for a luggage rack. The supplies for ornaments makes me want to start decorating today. Do you think it's a little soon?

WHOA Pam. Incredible haul. You ARE a professional. Could the needlepoint pieces have been drapery ties? Do they have a button hole at each end?

Love your finds! I can only guess the size of the needlework, but they look like bell pulls to me.
Are they the right side to be the straps for a luggage holder? I have seen things like these on luggage holders, but they wouldn't have been that in the 1800'. Are they too thin to be bell pulls? Bell pulls are usually about 3 or 4 inches wide. Also things like this were used as wall plate holders... in the form of kind of a sling. Are they finished on the ends? Everything is wonderful. Wish I had been there... we could have met and had our first cat fight on our first face to face meeting. Yikes. xo Joan

Those cross-stitch numbers would make a cute camera strap- love the vintage mica houses, I have a few that belonged to my great-grandparents- they used to have a booth at our local flea-market and boy did they have treasures. Thanks for sharing all your fun finds!
what a load... and as for the cross stitched things... I believe they are curtain tie-backs... my grandmother use to make them all the time... and she had them in their home to tie back all her big heavy curtains...
