Cheers! It's the last Vintage Christmas Monday of the year. Our hostess Joan, has a dazzling collection of spun cotton ornaments that will make your heart go pitter patter.
You can see them at Anything Goes Here.
Here at our house, Santa Claus has already come to town...and he landed on our mantel!
A variety of trees and a snowy village on Grandma Millie's cake plate.
Mica houses and Christmas elves.
We had a nativity just like this one when I was growing up. It's a beautiful old set, made in Japan. (There is even a "Japan" stamp on Jesus's bottom!) It's in perfect condition. I found it just after I moved to Portland 15 years ago. It was in a box, on the floor, at the Central Catholic High School Rummage Sale. Price: $5.00. I adore it.

Everything is wonderful. I love those little red guys in the middle picture! Very whimsical. xo Joan, your hostess
Aren't you the lucky one that Santa landed on your mantel! Looks great! I like how you used the footed cake plate in the vignette! Very nice :) Merry Christmas ~ Judi

Merry Chrismas............Linda
I love-a LOVE the tinsel palm tree.. I've never seen one before, now I have :)
I adore it too!!
I *love* that nativity.
And I especially adore (like others here) that tinsel palm tree!
I'm loving all your Santas--mine are all over the place and I keep meaning to corral them in one spot and take a photo but who has time once they're out?! I also dig that glass/plastic(?) tree with the little blue balls. Very cool.
I love your tree collection - I don't think I have a single one like any of yours, so clearly there is much more collecting to do! Those little elves with the houses are awfully sweet, too.
I just love your nativity scene, it's wonderful!
