On the other hand...

I admit that I have been very snarky lately about the place where I grew up. There are a few things I miss about Southern California...

Palm trees,

Hedges of Bird of Paradise blooming in November,

Bouganvillea planted as ground cover,

Dad reading The Wall Street Journal at the kitchen table, (He's 84!)

and potting flowers with my mom on the back patio. (She's 81!)

Love the pics of Mom and Dad. My parents are EXACTLY the same ages. So wonderful to have them around.
