Dahlias in late October
It's now October 20th and this is what's happening outside our dining room window...These gorgeous blooms are thriving in my "adopted" garden.

My friend Mary says that a better name for it is the "mercy" garden. I think she's right. Anything still blooming in your neck of the woods? Please advise!

Well I had some roses, here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA, until this morning. They looked beautiful covered in frost though!!

Nothing blooming here, but one October I did have iris blooming. It was so exciting! Love that red on your dahlias. They are just so happy that they were saved!
I don't have dahlias but I saw some absolutely gorgeous ones in a neighbors yard while walking the doggie. xo, suzy
How beautiful!! Nothing left here but a few of my pink roses.
The freeze last week pretty well did everything in. I will just have to enjoy your flowers!
Gorgeous! I still have some things blooming but none of these. I just saw a rose blooming, hydrangeas, angel trumpets and swamp daisies. It actually was pretty cold here the last couple of mornings and there was some frost. Blooms will be gone soon:( Have a blessed day!
That must be their way of saying thank you for saving them!
