Then there were boxes lined up along the driveway. Everything in those boxes was a dime:
I finally made it into the house and picked up a few things there too. The total for this pile was about $2:
My heart was pounding when I got into the car. Just as I was pulling away, I caught a glimpse of the FREE box. I found Christmas carol sheet music, and two vintage versions of Peter Rabbit. I especially like the one on the bottom. Someday, in the dark of the rainy and endless northwest winter, I will put these pages in vintage frames I have stashed in the garage, and I will be happy.

Cheap. cheap, cheap. Do I sound like some strange and exotic bird?
OH that Peter Rabbit book - if I ever have a grandchild, it will have a Peter Rabbit room!! I've been saving for years. Lucky you!!

What awesome treasures...& prices that make us all smile! Hopefully these people who consider all this stuff junk will never find out the truth!! :o}!! Oh, the things that make our hearts beat a little faster! Have a great week *elaine*
In the free box! Even better!
I like those chicken (recipe?) cards. Very cute!
What fun finds you have! A good day out. I have one of those music looking thingies (don't know what it's called), got it at the local thrift store as a gag gift but then I set it in the bathroom with magazines in it and now I love it!
What could be better than a well-priced (aka cheap) estate sale!! What a fun post. And speaking of Peter Rabbit, we just watched the recent movie about Beatrix Potter's life; it was really interesting! Have a great day. Sandy/rhubarb reign
