I like my booty cheap!

Will from Rita Deco's World gave me a heads up about a recent estate sale. It's sort of an ongoing affair; as the daughter and son uncover more and more stuff in mom's house, they drag it out onto the driveway and nail up directional signs on telephone poles. (Not unlike what's in store for my children!) First I scanned the tables. I paid $1 for each of the items in this photo:

Then there were boxes lined up along the driveway. Everything in those boxes was a dime:

I finally made it into the house and picked up a few things there too. The total for this pile was about $2:

My heart was pounding when I got into the car. Just as I was pulling away, I caught a glimpse of the FREE box. I found Christmas carol sheet music, and two vintage versions of Peter Rabbit. I especially like the one on the bottom. Someday, in the dark of the rainy and endless northwest winter, I will put these pages in vintage frames I have stashed in the garage, and I will be happy.

Cheap. cheap, cheap. Do I sound like some strange and exotic bird?

What fun finds you have! A good day out. I have one of those music looking thingies (don't know what it's called), got it at the local thrift store as a gag gift but then I set it in the bathroom with magazines in it and now I love it!

What could be better than a well-priced (aka cheap) estate sale!! What a fun post. And speaking of Peter Rabbit, we just watched the recent movie about Beatrix Potter's life; it was really interesting! Have a great day. Sandy/rhubarb reign
