This charming little spot is found just off Hawthorne Boulevard in Southeast Portland. It looks like it was brought over, brick by brick, (including the white metal cart) from Paris. But I digress. The real story is what is happening inside the miniscule kitchen behind the blue facade.
How about a waffle with bacon, brie and basil? Then for dessert, a Bananamisu? Oh! Yes, please!

OMG!! I'll take that for breakfast. yummy and what a cute little hole in the wall. I would definitely run there if I could. I love little places like that. So cool. jojo
You better stop showing all of the cool stuff Portland has or you just might end up with a lot of new neighbors. That makes the breakfast I had look pretty weak.
We were in the Hawthorne District the other day, but must have not wandered far enough. I've never seen the place.

My hubby and I adore the waffle window! We go as much as we can, and we really like the owners so we enjoy giving them our business...Last Saturday, I actually parked in front of the driveway with my hazards on three minutes before it closed to get a chocolate-dipped waffle to-go....The hipsters gave me dirty looks but oh well!
