Caught in the act!

We are convinced that our feline Frankie is actually a dog in a cat suit. He speaks in more of a bark than a meow, loves to roll around in the dirt, and drinks out of the toilet. We suspected he may also be sipping from the fish bowl and his morning I caught him red-pawed. See Frankie's tongue? See the pet Beta fish? Rest assured, the cat does not want to eat the fish. He just wants a little refreshment.

Beautiful fish. :)

However, there are lot of myths about betta fish that unfortunately shorten their lifespans. Betta fish enthusiasts recommend at least a 2.5 gallon tank with a heater, as bettas are tropical fish who prefer 78-80 degree water.

Some great links.

This is hilarious! Ours have been caught "red-pawed" at times, too! I love that you captured the tongue in this snapshot! Too cute!
I don't have a beta, but I have always seen them just like this, in small jars. Solitary and content.
OXOXO
MUahahaha....evil twin.
