A Rose by any Other Name Smells Like a Giveaway

It's been ages since One Gal's Trash has had a giveaway. Since Spring is coming (allegedly), I'm thinking a floral theme is in order. I've recently found some fab rose-related vintage items that I want to pass on to you. Here's what's included in the giveaway:

A gorgeous fabric rose brooch, a set of 12 rose "Thank You" notes, a partial (43 cards) but fabulous deck of rose playing cards (perfect for crafting) and a vintage book on roses. Look at the inside covers of the book...Beautiful!

All of these goodies will be packed up in this super cute Peek Frean's Rose Basket biscuit tin.

You want in? Just sign up as a follower over on the left sidebar. You will then officially be a member of One Gal's Trashy Pals! I'll pick the winning name on Saturday April 23rd for the Rose-a-Palooza!

By any other name, would smell as sweet...

My son picked this rose for me when he was out walking the dog today. I put it in a bowl that used to belong to my grandparents. Millie and Otto had a set of these turquoise footed bowls. They had ice cream in them every night after their dinner. I am not sure what happened to the rest of the set. I have two, I hope my sisters have the others. I like to use them for special things, like when my son picks a rose for me while out walking the dog.
