The Girly Stuff

More of the loot I found last week...

Rusty, filthy and fabulous vintage bread box and set of glasses destined to hold chocolate milkshakes. Whipped cream and Maraschino cherries, no extra charge!

2 Frenchy girls in round frames (I can never pass these up), miniature perfume bottles, a cigar box and a lantern. But it's not just a lantern, of course. It's a bottle and a music box. The tune it plays is "How Dry I Am". Not kidding.

And the pretty girl on the cigar box loves her smokes so much that she's engraving their initials onto an unsuspecting tree. I smoked a cigar once when I was 19, accompanied by a Bloody Mary and my boyfriend at the time, whose surname was Divine. Not kidding. Perhaps that's a story for another day.

The Stuff I Brought Home

Here's my takeaway from the "Angels and a Whorehouse Bed" sale...

A milk glass bird candy dish and vintage coffee canister (both already listed in my Etsy shop!).

Teeny perfume bottles, owl pendants, tutti fruiti earrings that will soon be hair clips, a St. Christoper pill box (in case prayers don't heal you, meds will), and 2 fab bone china liquor decanter labels. I'm making these into necklaces...I don't care what anyone says. I'll sell them at the Plucky Maidens Junk Fest!

A sweet vintage framed bird print. At first I thought it was wallpaper, but it's actually fabric from 1955...It says so on the back. LOVE it!

Glittery sequined pears,

a pussy willow adorned serving bowl,

and a tapestry table top in autumn colors...The last 3 items can also be found in my Etsy shop!
See what you can come up with if you're willing to dig? What's your favorite thing?
