A few months ago, I told you about
Cart'M, which is my favorite place for junking on the Oregon Coast. When I was there last weekend, I hit a small but fabulous jackpot. I found 2 vintage blue glasses (we had the avocado green ones when I was a kid) and a worn, wonderful American flag.
I have been looking for an old flag for ages. This one is perfect. It's soft cotton and the colors are faded and gorgeous. Here's the best part....It has 48 stars, which means it pre-dates 1959!
Back in the lamp section, I discovered these beauties. Can't decide if I should keep them chippy white, or spray them a robin's egg blue. What do you think?
