That looks very similar to the briefcase that my Dad used over 40 years ago.
Love your vintage bag, it looks to be in great condition (when I find them they're beat up and battered).
Maybe they wanted to make it clear nothing came with the bag?
We have the same one. It's in my pile of junque to sell.We call it the Dr. Jones bag because it reminds us of Indiana Jones when he is in Professor mode.
Love that bag but the tag is really funny! hugs, Linda
That is EXACTLY like my father's "Flight Bag". He was an Air Force fighter pilot from 1944-1969 and carried it when he flew - it's part briefcase, part suitcase. So cool. Love your blog and happy to have found it.
oh my word! That price tag is hilarious! That is such a compelling reason to purchase it...lol
oh please please please enjoy the pricing people at St Vincents there!! I'll trade you, because our local St Vinnie's just got bar code stickers and a bar code "gun".
sigh. not nearly as much fun!!! and of course the prices went UP UP UP>
Yep, I agree with the other comments re: the bag. I have the same one, although darker leather, that my dad carried to, and from, work each day, filled with papers, and lunch, in the '60s. Whenever I see it, I am reminded how he toiled to provide for us.
