I brought the
Spotted Dick to knitting group and it was a big hit.
I made a little plate for each gal. I used English china (because if you are eating Spotted Dick, it should be served on English china) and topped each serving with a little Cool Whip.
I asked everyone to take a bite and
then I told them what they were eating. No one spit it out, which I thought was a good sign. There was much guffawing and most of the gals polished it off. A couple of them took a polite bite and then quietly put their plates back on the coffee table. Julie
loved it, she said she wants a case of it for Christmas!
