When you're feeling a little blue...

I sometimes group things by color. It calms me. I cannot tell you why. On this particular day, I was blue. As in turquoise. Which is not only a dazzling color, but it's also fun to say....go ahead, say it. See, don't you feel better? Here we behold various vintage pottery vases, a dotty glass, a floral brooch, playing cards and a little chair. The chair is actually a place card holder, but my grandma Millie used to use them as Christmas ornaments. I snap them up whenever I see them at estate sales. And so, every December, a collection of tiny chairs hangs on my Christmas tree, too!

Not sure what it is about that color but I love it , too, and in all the shades it comes in..........especially those vintage, faded ones. It calms the soul!
Have fun,
Cheryl

Those blues really do work well together. Great idea to group them all together. That little chair is adorable-hadn't seen one before. Thanks for the inspiration.
