The Breakable French Stuff...a.k.a. New Collections!

Here's the booty that got back to Portland safe and sound...

3 vintage clay pots...pepper, mustard, spices and a cow ("Mooo!") butter cover.  The beautiful painting is of the French house where I will live in my next life. Not officially breakable, but I wanted you to see it!

Juice reamer, yellow dotty carafe and a teal green Provimi ashtray...can you see the profiles of a rooster, pig and cow?  I've never seen black chicken egg cups.  Salt and pepper set for people who don't eat much.  The 2 purple pottery flowers are the type often seen on top of graves.  Much nicer that plastic geraniums, no?

Set of 1940's blue-ish milk glass coffee cups and glass bottle top thing-a-ma-jigs.  They're heavy!

In France, these little pottery figurines are baked into holiday cakes for Epiphany.  Whoever receives the charm in his or her slice of cake gets to be the King or Queen for the day...Charming!

I saw these cafe au lait bowls in a flower shop window in Montmartre.  I am head over heels in love with them!

I have always loved the enameled flowers but never saw any outside of the graveyards. I even toured graveyards to see them..where did you find them?

I so enjoyed seeing all of your photos. And although I find it very difficult to fly, you have made me want to get on a plane and head to France.
