Texas Junking - Chapter VI

Girls, girls, girls. I've been gone for a loooooong time.  There are many reasons; but mostly it's because I've been planning, plotting and producing the Plucky Maidens Junk Fest! which was last weekend.  The Fest!  was great....lots of shoppers, fab vendors, live music, cocktails and fantastic JUNK!

I realized today that I never finished telling my Texas stories. When we last left our protagonist (ahem), she had just arrived in Texas and gone to Zapp Hall in Warrenton, where she ran directly into the arms of these two.

This is Deb of Talking Trash, me, and the one and only Cat Daddy. Cat Daddy is a man of few words who is totally and utterly devoted to his wife, a woman of a few choice words.  We talked about junk, family, religion, writing, dancing, food, hurricanes and friendship. The best thing that Deb said during our time together was - when I remarked that the 98 degree 98 percent humidity weather was getting to me - "Oh honey, around here that's what we call a cold front!"  Here are shots of Deb's gorgeous booth...

Want to guess where I'll head first on my next trip to Texas?

P.S. You are the queen of cropping!
P.P.S. Devoted? More like yoked!
P.P.P.S. (Notice a pattern here?) Thank you for the candy, the books which are fab and most of all for being my friend. That's a priceless gift I treasure.
