It's not a verb, it's not a noun, it's not an adjective.

Someone hung a friendly, blue sign bearing a simple statement on this telephone pole on NE Fremont St. It's the most beautiful word in the English language. Yes.

My mother told me (when I was grown up) that she had always tried to say yes to whatever I wanted to do.(Within reason) I thought that was a wonderful thing.

I wonder if it was a yes in reply to a marriage proposal. Wouldn't that be romantic?

I was inspired once, years ago, and put a post it on our ceiling above the front door which said "Yes," for A to find. :)
