I'm a 7-Up girl. Please don't serve me Sprite, and certainly
not Sierra Mist. I was tickled to find this recipe book at a recent sale. It's called "7-Up goes to a Party!"

Who knew you could make all this great stuff with a soft drink?

Meat marinade, biscuits, salad dressing, "sophisticated" baked beans, and...

Anyone for a Jellied Tomato Olive Mold? Perhaps not.

But, I
will be making this Frozen Fruit Loaf for our 4th of July party. I'll use blueberries and strawberries for color. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Does 7-UP ever meet whiskey or brandy at the party?
(sorry, sorry) I think I had that frozen fruit dessert once, it was rather good!
THe frozen fruit sounds good....the Olive thingee...NOT SO MUCH! LOL! But then again I don't like Olives so it had NO chance with me. :0P Glad the little deer got a new home! Happy Summer Ya'll!
I love these product specific cook books. Please do a step by step post on how to make it, I'd love to see it come to bubbly fruition!
Gosh, I haven't had a 7-Up in ages! Definitely let us know how that fruit mold turned out, and include photos in all it's fruity glory, because it looks positively yummy!
I talked my mom into giving me a bunch of her old cookbooks from the 60's when I moved out. They have the greatest recipes in there. I always keep an eye out for them when I'm out hunting.
I love cookbooks like this and am always looking to add to my collection!
how fun is that cookbook... I think you may need to share some of those recipes with us... don't ya think... well at very least me... please... enjoy!!! {{hugs}} Michelle
