I drove one of these babies during my college years while living in The O.C. My 1977 Mustang was blue. All of the other students at UC Irvine drove chocolate brown convertible BMWs, but I'm not bitter or anything. Anyway, this golden girl is up for sale near our house. Meanwhile, a few blocks away...
this sweet thing is also on the market. I've been wanting to trade in the Dodge for a Super Duper Mini Cooper for EVER. The Cooper is adorable of course, but the Mustang has a lot more room for junk in the trunk. If I was going to get one, which one would you recommend?

Now this is a hard choice. I love a mustang but the mini is sooooo cute! I think I need room for my junk!
Hmm, that's a tough one - I would measure both cars
I see you in the mustang! But of course I knew you way back when...
Which one would you regret not getting? As inventive as you are I'm sure you'll come up with a way to get the most space out of the mini, but ultimately these days we spend so much time in our cars that if you're not driving what you like it can make you miserable.
It's all about the junk (isn't it?) :-)
In fact, I want to trade 'up' to a cargo van for hauling the XL junk. How stylish is that?
Not a fair question!! The practical side of me says the Mini might be more reliable but the wild side says go for the Mustang!! I drove a little sports car in college and now have a Miata.....what does that tell you?

I had a mustang in school (circa mid-70's) and loved it. However, I've ALWAYS thought the Mini Coopers were so cute and fun. However, I need room for stuff so even though I'm not a "soccer mom" I drive a big SUV (girl truck....hey....I'm in Texas!)
I'd get the mini because 1970s Fords are not all that reliable....
Ha! Well, the Cooper sure is a lot cuter. My husband was driving a convertible mustang when I met him. Those were the days. Good luck and best wishes, Tammy
Are you at all concerned about gas? I'd go with the Mini Cooper, and heck I am an old car owner! If you really want the 'Stang for its sentimental value, please be able to still feel that way when it breaks down. Old cars are a lot of maintenance, but if you are in it for the long haul, they are fun & original! If you want some reliable transports, check out that lil' cooper. It is a heck of a cute car and surprisingly roomie!
You can buy a cooper at any time, but old mustangs, not so much. Relive the past...that is what we all do when we buy old junk1
My sister has a Mini and LOVES it. You can probably get more in it than the Mustang. Plus, get a newer car!
Cooper all the way! A true junker can make whatever she needs to fit in the space available.
If you find something that would not fit in the mini, show any man (and most women) what you are driving and they will offer to deliver. They will understand.
Sentiment is fine but newer Fords are NOT the wonderful old 'Stangs
