An Accidental Yard Sale

The other day I was driving down Stanton Street when I saw some people sitting on their porch, surrounded by stuff they no longer loved. No sign...just items dragged out onto the front lawn. At first, it looked pretty dull, but then I saw a pile of boxes covered with dust and spider webs. I took a peek and my blood pressure went through the roof...vintage gloves, small pottery pieces, carved wood treaures....I think you get the gist. I said to the gal running the sale: "You and I have the same taste." Her response: "It's my grandma's stuff. I just want to get rid of it."
Oh! I think I can help you with that, sista! Here's the loot....

Vintage gloves (Pink! Lavendar!) Italian pottery, never used floral doilies, French perfume bottle, tiny wood clogs and box,

Italian ink well, millinery fruit, M.A. Hadley plate, metal S & P & O & V,

Binoculars, vintage cards (2 unopened decks from the Desert Inn in Las Vegas!), a vintage seashell book for making greeting cards and a Joan Walsh Anglund book for my sister Kathy.
I might drive by this morning to see if they left anything out by the curb...

Wow...you certainly hit the randomness jackpot there. I would have peed my pants had I come across a score like that. The vintage goddesses were very good to you!

How lucky for you!!! I feel bad when people "just want to get rid of" stuff, especially if it's grandma's. But perhaps they needed some extra cash. One day they may wish they had kept some of those treasures. I know you will put them all to good use...

Her grandma would be so happy to have it go to a loving home.
I hope you also found some curbside goodies the next day.
