Just about a month ago, our new hut looked like this. Cute, but she needed a little personality.
So I started to dig in the dirt.
Mark put up vintage turquoise shutters and painted the trim a crisp, beachy white.
Now that's more like it!
Wanna get closer?
Pretty amazing since this is what things looked like just a year ago!

Lovin' the updates! The shutters are terrific!
It looks fabulous! Love the little seahorse and the new shutters. I'm jealous you can dig in the dirt in your yard there. We have gravel in our entire yard and it goes about 3' deep at least. -Cyndy
It is pretty amazing and I can't believe it's been a year.

P.s. Your hut is turning into the cutest doll house. Love the shutters!
WHAT? Your house caught fire? Where did I miss that story?
The new little hut is coming along. Love the shutters! xo Joan@anythinggoeshere
Jeez lou-eez--a whole year has gone by! Loving your new hut and those shutters add such a great touch.
It's looking fantabulous!
And the previous post with those buttons....I'm green with envy.
This weekend I was finding the most amazing links about small house living. Much smaller than your house. After I have moved into my huge, amazing farmhouse that I've dreamed of all my life.
Now I see the benefits of appreciating the space you have and more is not better.
How brave of you to take photos while your home burned.
