...I leave for London. I have been wanting to take this trip for ages. When I was younger ~ and much more optimistic ~ London was my home for 3 years. I still have friends there and sometimes miss it so much that my heart aches. This is the view from the flat I have rented for the time I am there. The rooftops of Bayswater, near Hyde Park. 12 days...on my own...in my old stomping grounds. Oh! And I will be hitting every rummage sale in the British Empire!

What a fabulous trip! We are going to the UK in July. Old neighbors of ours moved to Cambridge almost a year ago and we are going to go visit them.
Don't be surprised if I contact you to find out where the best thrifting is!!
I know the trip is still a month off but in case I don't get to say it.....Have a great time!

What a great view! I can't tell you how jealous I am! If I could go anywhere, it would be England. I hope you're going to take lots of picture, and share all of the adventures I'm sure you're going to have!
How Mary Poppins....!
Oh you lucky duck! It will be here before you know it. Have a wonderful trip.
Happy Easter to you and your family
What a dream vacation: thrift shopping in Europe! Have a great time.
OOOOHHH! International thrifting! I'd love to see what the finds are like across the pond. Do keep us informed!
With a little magic dust you could fly right out that window to NeverNeverLand! Like everyone else, I'M SO JEALOUS. Take your laptop and blog the whole time you're there (or at least try, for pete's sake). Wow!!!
Lucky girl. I'm jealous. In the nicest sort of way. Have fun with those swanky Britts!
I think I see a rooftop I recognize in your photo...is that dome from Whiteleys? I did a Study Abroad in college and we lived in that same area. We were in a triangle between the Notting Hill, Queensway and Bayswater tube stations so we walked to Whiteleys often.
I'm green with envy--I loved my short time there and look forward to going back some day. I can't wait to see more photos from your trip!
What an enviable opportunity! You're going to have some amazing photos I'm sure to share when you get back. :o)
Car boot, car boot, car boot! Say it real fast ten times!
I can't wait to see what you get there... I know you're going to have a wonderful time... enjoy... enjoy... enjoy!!! {{hugs}} Michelle
