Twilight Rummage Booty

Okay girls, Here's the stash I got at the Twilight Rummage on Saturday night:

Dazzling earrings and brooch made with love by a local artist,

happy squirrels,

vintage mushroom decals and veggie handled hors d'oeuvres knives that always remind me of my sweet mom,

2 shiny things, a teeny swiss cow bell...and the beginning of the pile of ephemera I scored. This is a vintage menu (in French and Italian) from a cruise ship. Love the whole grape picking thing going on.

I picked the 10 most unusual postcards I could find. There were hundreds of 'em!

A page from an old scrapbook....

with a birdie post card that spoke to me. Or maybe chirped at me.

And my favorite magazine ad from the 1960's. Uh, yeah, let's put BABY OIL on Billy & Sally's tender skin, just to make sure they get nice and crispy down by the lake.

That ad is very troublesome. Those poor babies are burning to a crisp! What a great sale that was, especially in the ephemera department. I'm so excited that there are two estate sales this Friday. Finally! Let the games begin!

Wow such great scores! I would love to see more of the menu from the cruise ship...that just sounds very cool. You scored some great postcards also.

Good lord, your will power is amazing! I'd have bought the whole pile of postcards (and then of course regretted it later). What a great pile of stuff, girlfriend. Happy dance!!!

Wow what amazing cards! I always have to restrain myself from starting ephemera collections. Now I know who to send vintage cards to! :-)
