Lamp: Found on the curb in Rockaway Beach.
Shade: Found in a FREE box at a sale.
Putting the two together: Priceless.

That is just a beautiful lamp...Hey, I think that fell off my moving truck, can you mail it to me? hee hee just kidding! I couldn't just let it be I'd have to paint little gold flowers on it or gold swirls or something. I just can't seem to let well enough alone. I guess I have an "altered spirit" in me that comes bubbling up to the surface sometimes.

Oh my goodness, the base of that lamp looks just like the one my parents had when I was little, except the glass was amber! Lovely marriage of lamp parts!

'Too Far'? No. Now, adding a bit-o-glitter or a 'black' light bulb 'might' be 'Too Far'. 'This', is 'just right'!
