Nobody knew the snow was coming...But look what happened today in Portland! This is our front yard from our bedroom window.

I was thinking about un-decorating the tree this afternoon, but I changed my mind. I plugged in the snowball lights and watched the snow fall.

Riley, a girl in Charlie's 3rd grade class, made this paper snowflake for me. It's perfect.

I actually saw on the new here today that Portland had 2" of snow during rush hour yesterday. It's great to look at, but I like to all then just melt away! Happy New Year. Judi

Maybe I should put some Christmas lights back up, that sound so pretty. Our snow has already melted here, but it was pretty while it lasted. Have a safe and Happy New Year!

I'm living vicariously through everyone else's snowfalls but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed. Southern MS is usually just too far south for snow, plus if it DOES snow everyone freaks out and slides off the road into the bayou.
