Vintage Plastic is Fantastic

I never pass up bags full of random plastic goodies at estate sales. The bags usually put me back about a dime and can hold treasures like these...

Birthday cake zoo train

Pink birdies and green floral candle holders

A teeny pair of wingtips

Valentine cupcake picks

Baby supplies

My all time favorite: Umbrellas for garden fairies

P.S. If you are a gardener, check out my Garden Gal blog for tips on how to put your garden to sleep for the winter.

OKAY...love them. I bought a big bag of plastic food. Only made a "picnic" hat with them, but I still have tons to do something with.

Oh too cute. I love the umbrella's!!! We have no estate sales around here so I can never find goodies like these. Do you keep them or do they go to your shop?

Magpie Laurie has me hooked on birthday cake candles and decorations!!

I agree Ms. Dot - plastic is fantastic! The wingtips are my favorite and the valentine head is my second fave. Are the wingtips a cake decoration...what in the heck would you put them on a cake for?

I don't know why, but I'm sure there's nothing better than cupcake picks.
