Today my favorite color is.....

Orange! I Orange!
In honor of Vintage Thingies Thursday...here is my stuff of the day:

Details: Dotty egg cup, lobster cup (melted butter not included), an amazing checkered Made in Japan teapot, a frog ashtray, Bakelite chicken ~ and yes, she does lay eggs ~ and 3 glass floral place card holders...

A Susie Cooper dotty wedding gift from my English friend Nina.

I hope that whoever decided to put that little blue dot in the middle of that flower is in Heaven.
Which one is your favorite?

Head over to Colorado Lady for more postings on vintage treasures....

I like the chicken. I used to not like orange, now I'm liking it very much.

I can't decide between the bakelite chicken or the Cooper dishes. Can I have both? No? Darn.

I'm having an excellent give away! Please join in the fun, but I don't think there is anything orange in the loot. Come check it out, anyway!

Crikey! Do I only get to choose one favorite? Well I can't! I've never seen any Susie Cooper in real life, only in British mags, and I'd swipe that chicken and frog from you if I thought I could get away with it!

Love your vintage pretties! My Sister's house was flooded and one of the donations given to her was a vintage ORANGE microwave! Thought you would like that to match your vintage thingies! Never seen one until now! Have a blessed day!

I'm a fan of Susie Cooper but for me it would have to be the teapot, it's groovy.

Orange is a wonderful color - and so contemporary. It always bring a zip of brightness to anything.
