Here she is...the NEW hut! We hope to have her up on our lot in Rockaway Beach by the end of August. This is her front half. The finished product will have cedar shingles, a different (translation:vintage) front door and a fab outdoor light fixture.

Here is my back half when I took off the original address plaque before the burn. It's packed away in storage now, but will be the first thing to get nailed back up on the new house.
I plan to cook Thanksgiving dinner here this year. I have never in my life cooked in a brand new kitchen. Yippee!
Emma in her room. She no longer has to share a bunk bed with her brother. She is happy.
Next up: Photos of the lot after excavation...you won't believe how different it looks!

How wonderful! Nice to have something fun happen towards the end of summer. Looking forward to all the exciting decorating, adventures and Thanksgiving pictures.
can't wait to see pictures of it all together... and I'm jealous I love my 'new' house but I'd love to cook in a new kitchen someday soo... don't forget to show us your Thanksgiving dinner when it happens... yum!
